 A typical Star Ferry makes
 one more of many millions
 of journeys.
People onboard one of the Ferries. For Hong Kongers, it's an everyday experience.

Waiting for boarding, the squeaky journey, docking at Kowloon, the ramp opens, walking up the gangway, the ferry pulls away - returning to Causeway Bay. I stroll along the wharf, icecream and recorder in my hand.. Hong Kong teens chat, a cute little girl in a white dress runs to catch a glimpse of a low flying helicopter, other ferries thrust their engines, as they wait to dock. One simply cannot get anymore Hong Kong than this. Since 1880, the Star Ferries have crossed the waters of this harbour and without doubt, are the most iconic image of this island city.
