On duty for many hours a day, and now facing the challenge of handling as many foreigners as they do the locals. Recruitment and graduation in full swing... We also hear how people become a police officer in China. But before any training, you must join 'the party'.

Glen Clifford was lucky to arrange a world exclusive interview with the Beijing Olympic Police... Very lucky... A few months later, they were prohibited from talking to the media.
As you can hear in this interview, there are reasons why they were eventually stopped from talking. Chief among them, something called 'honesty'. 'Honesty' about matters such as becoming a member of the Communist Party, and traveling abroad to learn about Capitalist systems.

Throughout 2004, 2005 and 2006, hundreds of Police Officers from the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau, were sent to overseas Universities (always in groups of about 16, so they could be better 'managed' while abroad) in order to complete quick 10 month Masters Degrees in English, with additional subjects in various aspects of policing, as they applied to the host countries of England, Canada, Australia, Germany, Japan and Korea.

Glen Clifford met the very beautiful April, Gloria, Diana, Vivian and Emma, during their final six weeks at the University of Canberra.
